Oceans connect us to some of the poorest nations in the world. Mercy Ships currently serves the poor primarily in the developing nations of West Africa on the Atlantic, Central America and the Caribbean, and the Asia Pacific region.
Since 1978, the Mercy Ships fleet has served in more than 500 ports in over 50 developing nations. In addition, the vessels conduct public relations tours in the USA, Europe and South Africa to procure supplies, recruit volunteers and raise funds.
Seventeen support offices around the globe help to sustain the vessels in the growing Mercy Ships fleet.
