| Wide-eyed little Mamadu only knew a life of fear. Apart from his immediate family, his only friend was a toy motor car. At the tender age of fifteen months, his future looked bleak. A travelling man, Demba’s father took his young son on all his journeys. Everywhere they went, they tried to find someone who could repair Demba’s lip.
