One of the great strengths of Mercy Ships is the diversity of people who have volunteered over the years. More than 10,000 people from over 50 nations have served on a Mercy Ship or at one of the many national offices and land bases. If you’re a former crew or staff member, and you’d like to reconnect with friends or colleagues, why not join the Mercy Ships Alumni Group.

Mercy Ships is constantly looking for past crew members, who are prepared to give a few hours a week or month, to organise events, give talks at churches, or raise vital funds for our work. If you have some time to spare, and you’d like to meet new people, do something inspiring, or learn new skills, then please click here to find out about volunteering.

Mercy Ships exists as a compassionate response to a world in need. On ships and land bases, dedicated volunteers bring their wide-ranging skills to promote health and well-being by serving the urgent surgical needs of the forgotten poor and empowering developing communities.
